I just lost a reader and I don't recieve any comments here. I'm not looking for popularity but I want to share my thoughts, what I like, etc. and getting no response at all is not that motivating as you probably can imagine. I'm thinking of giving this thing a rest because I don't want do produce another irrelevant blog on the Internet.

These 'works', if you can call it that, were created last month when I was playing with my new photo manipulation programme "Live Quartz" which I downloaded from the Internet before. It was free which means that it isn't the best one by far, but nevertheless, it's fun, simple, and sometimes all you need to waste your time when you should be learning or buying presents or something trivial like that.

It took me a while to produce this. I've been thinking about how to put this thought into words.

This is about God. I keep thinking about this human phenomen. I am an atheist. I can't say there is no God for sure because I can't prove that. But you can't prove the opposite either. So I say, I believe, I assume, I decide for myself that there is no God. No supernatural power, that created humanity, the plants and animals, and the world we all live in. I'm convinced, that all there is the nothing but the roaring, hustling, whistling sound of the silent universe. Nietsche called atheism nihilism. But to me, that's not right. Life may be a hopeless chaos, a coincidence, just a weird result of the endless evolution. People, societies, emotions, burdens, relations, beginnings, and endings, It is terrible, it is hard, for some all the time, for others now and then.

It is a well-known fact that the amount of religious people in developing countries is generally higher than in industrial nations. Life is hard there, in the developing countries, I heard. The hardes, probably. Having a hard life, people ask themselves "Why?". And to this question, only God is the answer. You couldn't list all the things that lead to the circumstances a person finds him/herself in that very moment he/ she wonders about life, but it would be the correct thing to do.

God describes every human's flaw. It is giving a reason to all this chaos, a destination, and taking fear, having company in the loneliest moments, and holding out hope for everyone, justifiying, and encouraging,

God is also accepting that there are no answers to everything, especially to the question about God. What/who is God? It is not a common question in that sense. People tend to accept that God is simply something beyond their perceiption. And they don't go further. This is what keeps God alive.

But being reasonable, and accepting the evolution theory although we can't explain eeverything here, is what Nietzsche calls the hardest thought. It means realising that humans are nothing but a coincidence, a sudden occurance on the surface of the earth, a triviality. We are not intended, planned, created, destined. We are here. And I assume that almost every religious person would find him/herself lonely, confused, lost, broken, empty, guideless and worthless.

But I say: this is nothing to worry about! For me, it is OK to be worthless, to be a meaningless being on earth's surface. I don't mind being an invisible spot in the big picture of time and space, because to a few wonderful people I am a valuable person and to some people I am the whole picture. And this is why I don't need a God.

The idea of God has shown to be unneceessary. We need to be honest with ourselves and to others and we need to admit that we are afraid. We need accept and we need to give help. And we need to remember that there are others around us who share the same miserable lonelyness and desperation, that they are asking the same question. We need give shelter and hope to others, we need to eat and make love. This is all we can do. We need to give up God.

When I see the sea, the sun, a beautiful river or a beautiful person, when I experience love or luck, I do not think of God. I think: What a beautiful coincidence!

It's been a while, since you heard of me, I know, I know. I've been so busy with life, I completely forgot about my virtual one. There was lots of stuff to do for school before the holidays, the 'pre-finals' had to be written, that means two assignments à 5 hours and one à 4 hours in english, art and history. Okay, I see, this is nothing of relevance to you.

I've been spending more time on tumblr, mostly posting pictures, but now and then a random note or a quote or so, too. Tumblr is way easier and quicker than blogger, you don't need to register yourself each time you want to post.

So, tomorrow is New Year's Eve, my favourite among all parties. I never like Christmas so much because at the end of the day it is mostly about presents and the atmosphere could never really get me going. I like giving presents to the ones I love, but I hate that this christmas is the one day I am supposed to. With all the things I was occupied with in december, including being sick, so many visitings at so many doctors, learning, homeworks, preperations, I just couldn't find any time left to buy presents. And I refused to go searching for them on purpose because, to me, that is missing the point. And, in addition to that, I (being an atheist) don't like Christmas as it celebrates the birth of Jesus- which too many people seem to forget over hunting for present (which, btw, according to the newspaper located here, a high amount of people exchange after the big day). This is why for me, there was never reason to 'celebrate' something I didn't even believe in.

I give when I feel like, and I don't belive in god(s).

As for New Year's Eve, oh, I just love fireworks. Thar glittery, sparkling bangbanbang, and the oohs, and the aahs in the cold and the dark, and this senseless energy that fades already in the morning hours and all resolutions postponed to next year or later. The german word for New Year's Eve is Sylvester. Beautiful, eh? Well, yes, I prefer crackers to cradles, I guess.

Speaking about Sylvester and resolutions, to me, it's the same shit like giving presents because it's christmas. What if I notice a bad habit in march? Do I have to wait till the end of the year till I am going to change it? As I said, senseless, but human.

So, this is me not resolving, just daydreaming, as usual:

2009 was awful, all in all.

2010 will be aw, learning for finals, finals- finally, finishing school, maybe going abroad,sewing, drawing, laughing, running, dancing, losing false friends, learning new languages, writing, traveling, wedges, american appaarel, zara, flowers, flats, glasses, hair, underwear, seaside, island, water, sunbathing, reading, sunglasses, one first and last careless summer, eating, cute dresses and short shorts, no more teachers, lipsticks, tight jeans and white shirts, good music, new music, sun rising, and sun setting, perfume, kissing, dresses, upside- down crosses, bags, darkness and lights, movies, singing aloud although I'm not good at that, magazines, or not, architecture, art exhibitions, dots, stripes, black and white, long skirts, taking more photos, less internet, haha, clothes, jewelry, new friends, tights, coats, scarves, the universe, the moon- always, goodbyes, and hellos, popcorn (always and everywhere- almost), beds, toes, tears, tigers, whales, touches, concerts, cold and warm and everything in between, breath in- breath out...

This is an endless list, coincidence will sweep me away, maybe to some of those places above, maybe not. But as you know, detours show us the best places and people.

I watched this film (The Semptember Issue) yesterday.

All I basically knew about Anna Wintour before was what I snapped from the discussions about the film The Devil Wears Prada which is based on Lauren Weisberger's novel. Lauren Weisberger was, as you might know, Anna Wintour's assisant and allthough the resemblance of Andy Sachs and the author herself was never officially confirmed it is widespread that there must be some truth about the whole story. And it makes sense, doesn't it? How could anybody be successfull in such a job as chief-editor of the US-Vogue, if he/she were not a hard, cold and demanding person? And doesn't the business itself cries for such an person?

The world of fashion is unjust, superficial, decadent, authoritarian, inhibited, luxurious. It is about money, diszipline and favor. And luck is a dominant part of every aspect. So what reasonable person who values equal rights, fair working conditions and freedom, who can accept and tolerate different opinions, could make this industry work? Right, I don't have an immediate answer, either.

As I am judging here, I have to say that I don't have an overall overview nor any reliable insider information. So, I shouldn't actually have an opinion, I am not supposed to have one and I am sure not competent enough for it.

But the thing is, I have one. And wether it's a stupid and irrelevant one, that's for the competent ones to decide. Because I am sitting at the end of it. I would be the one buying Vogue, if I liked that magazine.

Well, what I know about the fashion industry is that poor children in developing countries have to work on some pair of high-fashion brand jeans, otherwise their

family wouldn't be able to survive. And those children can not go to school, to learn and to make their life less miserable in the end because they would find a better-paid job.

So I know that the fashion industry is exploiting children in developing countries and takes away from them their education and their future.

And I know, that the editors of magazines such as Vogue waste inconceivable much money for editorials and shoots and other semi-important things, that won't even be fully published in the end because the hair looks strange or something... Honestly? Does it matter? It sure doesn't matter to the child sewing the jeans in Bangladesh that the hair looks strange, but I' m positive that it matters to it how many years it's family could have lived free of care with the money that was spent on those photographs that ended up in the trash.

And: Would the ordinary fashionista really notice the strange hair at all? I bet, she wouldn't!

See, with Vogue it's the same like with religion. There is way too much respect for it because the system is working so well. Pray to God, or pray to Vogue, it is, when it is stylized, the same concept: The fashion industry is your religion. The Vogue (especially the US-Vogue) is your church. You pay for it, and with it (church/Vogue), you're in the system, you're in the group. You only get God when you go to church. Those two are bent together. The God of the fashionistas would be Anna Wintour in that case. She rules it all. Designers show her their collections before they show them on the runway shows. Not very free, mh? Whilst on the other hand, being creative is supposed to be the expression of one's personal ideas, feelings, etc, and in my point of view it should be unneccessary to consult anybody else but oneself for that purpose.

Well, back to the church. Fashion is religion, Anna is God, Vogue is the church. Here all fashionistas get to know what Anna wants them to know. And I ask myself:

Why are people letting something like this to be done with themselves? Don't they strive to be as free as possible?

I am not religious and I don't like the Vogue. For several reasons:

First, I don't like the authoritarin character of it. To me, fashion is an art, and when it comes to art, there is no universal opinion about it. There may be a majority and a minority, but what became very clear in the movie The September Issue was, that the US-Vogue is pretty much Anna's personal views, tastes and favourites. But she lets others do the real job for her, she just picks what she likes and is extremely stubborn when it comes to different opinions. Isn't that a shame?? As for me, I think a magazine should have several editors with different opinions equal influence and freedom of dicision-making so that the magazine reflects the variety of designers that want to be noticed and acknowledged.

Second thing I don't like about Vogue is the overwhelming amount of advertisement there is. I must admit, that some advertisement is very well done, but do I have to pay a ridicoulously high price for advertisement that want to lure me into buying something I can't even afford?

Next thing is the fashion industry itself. I woudn't want to buy a magazine that is the support of such an unreal, unfair industry.

I don't consider it very glamourous, wearing a pair of jeans that defrauded some young boy or girl of his education.

So no, I don't like Vogue. I am really interested in fashion but I won't support this cruel system. I think it is a shame and I wonder, why it seems that nobody is aware of what they are doing...

What especially stroke me watching the film yesterday was the absolute paradox the fashion industry bears.

"Fashion is not about looking back. It's always about looking forward. ", Anna said, and she's right. All fashion people are concerned with are the next trends, the next seasons, the new colours, etc, yet the fashion industry itself remains one of the most backwards and fixed institutions, just like the church.

Oh, and btw, Anna Wintour wore Prada at the premiere of The Devil Wears Prada...

So many posts today, haha, more than 100- yaaay. Not that I seriously feel good now or something, I've been actually wasting the time I could have needed for my studies and homeworks and crap like that! But I've totally feeling like wasting time today! Like I was spoiled with, pretending I had hours and hours of leisure, pretending I din't care. Sometimes I just need to throw my time outta the window. Yeah, richt. Away with it. Let somebody else pick it up and learn how to read and write.

Aw, I don't know whats wrong with me.

Today I lost my belief in friendship. Why, you ask? Because the people who pretend to be friends are no more than jealous, egoistic and dishonest children who take themselves way too serious. Lately, I've been addicted to a new american television sho called Flash Forward.

The series air on ABC since September and until now, 5 episodes have succeeded in taking my breath away! haha!

So, well the story starts with all people on the world losing consciousness at exactly the same time for 137 seconds. During these, they most of them have a vision of their future, that is about sixth month from the present, the 29th april. And some don't.

And not few people died during this global flash forward, a

s planes and cars crushed, bussed drove into lakes,...

The main character is a FBI agent, Mark Benford, who will be working on finding the reason for this flash forward. Benford is played by Ralph Fiennes, who we know from films such as Shakespeare in love or Luther.

Whilst Benford is highly alarmed by what he saw and fears his vision wil come true, there are other who hope for it. And his colleague Demitri is one of those, who hasn't seen anything, he just blacked out. So he is fearing he's gonna be dead sixth month from then...

As for others, they have visions they can't understand such as another of Benford's colleagues saw her self getting an ultrasound although she's sure that she is not pregnant.

Now the FBI sets up a website where people from all over the world can share their vision and find connections to others.

Demitri for example receives a call from a mysterious woman who tells him he's gonna be dead on April 29. One day after that, Demitris fiancée tells him she saw their wedding...

Meanwhile, the FBI has checked out videos from subway stations, etc and find one person in a baseball stadium who walks around while every other human was unconsciousness.

The surprising revealations about people's futures have them all confused.

Is it gonna come true? Is it a warning? Why was there someone conscious? Who did this? Is it gonna happen again?

Sure this is, a mass loss of consciousnee has happenend before, in 1991 in Somalia...

This series is really thrilling, the actors are well chose and higly convincing and the whole story is great written.

Don't miss it!!

Wouldn't tha be awfull terrifiying?

Gosh, I can't answer those questions myself... what to you guys think?

I've had some trouble blogging lately, not only because I am comletely stressed out and hardly find the time to post something, but also because I thought about the blogging itself a lot.

If you don't want your blog to be about your personal style and life, it is hard to run a decent fashion blog. There are already quite a few other sites and blog that inform fashion- interested people about what runs on the runway, what is going on, where and with who.

So I find i kinda lame and unnecessary to post something about the current runway shows and the ones I especially like. Plus, everybody does this and it is not original anymore. Blogging has become so popular, is so wide-spread, everybody seems to have a blog and much of them are so much alike they don't mean anything anymore.

As for me, I always need a purpose or a reason to do something. When I started this blog I wandet to show and share my personal opinion on random fashion iems, runway shows, etc. But today, I feel exhausted of all this and don't see the point in it anymore.

Trends, must-haves, no-gos- almost every blog talk about the same things. Doesn't that bores you guys? I want to see original, astonishing, funny, remarkable, interesting stes and I want to be one myself. I am absolutely against mainstream and I will struggle against it.

So, I am 'planning' changes around here- as you can see (hear) I removed the ipos again, I am still not sure wether I like it here or not... tell me what you think!

I currently discovered an italian label named L'autre chose which designs clothing, bags, but mostly shoes, as for example the ones you se above. These platform sandals do actually exist in suede, I guess, in blue, pink, and orange, but I couldn't downlowd the picture, so I suppose tthe black leather version is older...

As I am heading towards the end of school (and still trying to wrap my mind around that fact), I think about the "after"...
I guess a lot of people at my age can relate, though, I know others who already have a clear idea, if not plan, what to do with their lives.
Well, I am not decided yet. But, naturally, I have dreams. Maybe my dreams will turn out to be idealistic ideas of somehing that doesn't exist in reality, or just
nonsense, or else, I will not know that until I try to fulfill them.

SO here is some sort of list, that should cover most of the things I dream
about while sitting over my english h

read all tthe book on the world... mhh, except for all sorts of bibles and stuff...
last thing, that's gonna have to happen during my lifetime: start an atheistic revolution- yep I'm gonna do that, be warned, people! hahaha...

The autumn 09 collection from Weekday caught my eye today and- as they are finally opening a store here in Germany- was inspected with a closer look than usual, because, evey fashion loving human will know this feeling: it hurts to know to m uch lovely details of things you can't have.

To be found: leather, denim, and black, wide silhouettes- all in all a very dark collection. And of course pure and simple, as we know - and love- swedish fashion.

Today I completely messed up the math test (which was predictable, but I felt so sorry for my sister as she learnt three days with me), then went shopping with my mum (yeah- definately: frustration). I buyed a vintage skirt, ten fortune cookies (haven't looked what my future will bring... probably gonna do that AFTER the math test is given back... ah- and english, too... :s) and a new notebook for school (can't run away, eh?).

(My religion teacher would be infuriated if he read this (thank GOD, he doesn't), he hates people giving only 'google' as a source because it's like saying 'Oh, I went into the library and found the information there...' Yes he's right... I hate admitting teachers are right. Last Friday, when I sat in religion class (annoyed, because all my friends were off to the weekend already, except for me, of course) and was forced (!) to present my homework, I said, google, was my source and my teacher laughed. He'd better go to the dentist before he laughs again (at me). Then I said I found some PDF/ data-file... ah and then he was angry with me...

It's this weird phenomen occuring again: Older people have their own interpretation of the Internet. My religion teacher for example, is quite eager to give us homeworks including resaerch at the Internet, as he thinks it's the easiest and commonest media we are familiar with (he might me right with that again) and he also thinks that that would lead to a better hit rate concerning pupils wo did their research. It doesn't. Ha! here, he's wrong!

Mr. Religion Teacher represents a large group of older people assuming the Internet can provide it's users with information of highest quality. WRONG AGAIN! At least 90 % of the stuff you can find on the internet, is crap. And if you don't even think o f noting the source, it must have been not that striking.

Especially teachers, and my religion teacher is a good represenation again, think that wikipedia.org is as reliable as the national library. No offense, but not everything from wikipedia makes sense. My former german teacher realized this. he gave as an extract from a wikipedia article to find all mistakes/ thinks that startled us (it was an analyse and descripion of a book). Duh, that was fun.

But nevertheless, I wouldn't be able to do my homeworks without the help of wikipedia articles.

Isn't this an addiction already? Isn't that sickening?

Oh, and I'm atheist.)

Don't know why I'm telling this.

Must be on the edge of craziness by now.

Something about Justin Furstenfeld, singer/guitarist and songwriter of Blue October:

When not touring with his band, Furstenfeld resides in San Marcos, Texas. He is the brother of Blue October drummer, Jeremy Furstenfeld. He has a daughter named Blue (born in 2007) to whom several of the songs on the current Blue October album Approaching Normal are dedicated. Justin Furstenfeld has battled withbipolar disorder through most of his life. He has his condition under control, saying in an interview that "I'm not a danger to myself [anymore]." According to a VH1 online article about the band, "Into the Ocean" has had an impact on many listeners who may have been contemplating suicide. Growing up, Furstenfeld listened to hip-hop, rock, country, dance; his favorite artists included Marvin Gaye, The Smiths, Red House Painters and Pink Floyd.His first musical memory was Roy Orbinson's ballad, "Crying" During his high school years at Houston's prest igious High School for the Performing and Visual Arts(HSPVA), he formed a band The Last Wish, which he played in from the age of 13 until 1995. ah. isn't it breathtaking?

& by the way: as I was looking for pictures like this (for a t-shirt I'm planning to print with a picture of the orion nebula and a pretty cute- in an kinda intimating way- sentence), I discovered a band named Nebula. I immediatly went to youtube to find some of their songs, but the choice was actually quite unsatisfactory. So I searched for their official website, which you can find here.

They're also quite a few mp-3s to listen to online... Honestly, I was sitting infron of my computer, hoping, hoping this band would have great music, as they have the best name in the worrrrld.

AH, they do.

Not totally-stunning/ strikingly-genius, but I like it.

This seems to be their current album, although I could neithe find it on youtube nor on itunes/ istore..., anyway, I adore it. I'd also love to posses a band shirt of them, first because of their name...., second because noobobody knows the and they're so not mainstream, ah how I'd love that.

The zoo Part 1

I went to the last saturday to take a few photos. Actually I took almost 900 pictures together with my sister. It was hard work editing the photos, but in the end I found some sharp ones of my favourite animals, tigers.

Anyway, here are some of the elephant shots, these animals are so plump that they're beuatiful again, to me at least. Also, I love their skin which looks so old and drawn.

I learned two things, being at the zoo.

I actually don't like zoos. Keeping animals, especially strong and powerful ones like wildcats in small cages and enclosures is wrong, humans shoouldn't put themselves above animals - who are part of the nature we are desroying right now, btw - and take their freedom. I'd prefer wildcats in their familiar environment. So, I don't think I'm going to visit a zoo again.
Despite this, I dicovered that rheas are really cool animals! Pictures soon.
